LION SQUAD is a British Triathlon affiliated Triathlon, Multi Sport & Running Squad based in Selby, North Yorkshire. From recreational athletes through to GB Age Groupers we are a fun loving group of athletes who enjoy training and racing with each other.
We cater for all levels of ability in our sessions and our coached sessions (track and pool) are provided by British Triathlon and England Athletics qualified coaches. As our newly formed squad develops in 2020 and beyond we will continue expand our current offering.

I wanted to create a multi sport squad focused primarily on 3 things; Enjoyment, Support & Improving Performance. There is little point in racing if you’re not enjoying it and having fun along the way! Our group training sessions are structured and performance driven to help our members get the most out of their ability, whilst also having fun.
COACHED
SESSIONS
Our coached sessions are open to anyone over the age of 16 and the activities are overseen by British Triathlon qualified coaches. They are open to non-members to come along and try before committing to our annual squad membership.
We currently provide regular track sessions at Victoria Pleasure Grounds, Goole and pool sessions at Queen Margaret’s School, Escrick. Both venues provide fantastic facilities for our members to enjoy.
